Here are our two newest designs - Tennessee license plate replicas. Although the Bicentennial one looks simple, it was a big step forward for us. It's the first plate, where you can edit the county label, as well as the main license plate text. Of course, you can see your edits right away at our web store. The second plate is a colorful agriculture edition. We had loads of fun drawing it.
We are still working on new designs for our license plate replicas. We took into consideration votes from our poll (take a look on the right!), so we designed plates for Illinois, South Carolina and Tennessee. We'll show the Tennessee plates in our next post.
So, don't forget to vote if you want a new state added to our shop! We always give our best to fulfill your wishes!

The success of our license plate replicas came as a surprise to us, to say the least. Thanks to you, our customers, all our efforts are paid off. And no, we're not talking about money here. Thank you!
The second shock came from CafePress. We've found out, that CafePress uses our West Virginia license plate replica to promote their custom license plates section on their site! Here's a screen shot:
The only thing we could wish now, is for our Facebook page to come to life. So, if you like our designs, please like us, and keep in touch! (There's a Facebook box right here, on the right side of this blog!) :)
A big Thank You from your Werewolf Speed Shop team!
Yesterday, we have sold our 100th license plate replica! So, this blog post will be a little different! We're going to share some interesting facts, like best selling states, and best selling designs!
Best selling states:
These states cover 81% of our total license plate sales! Of course, it's not a big surprise, that these states were one of the first in our shop! Now, let's take a look at our best selling designs...
Best selling license plate replicas:
1. Texas - Lone Star State - Black
This is the first plate that we designed. It's the first one we sold. And, the #100 as well!
Total sold: 13
1. Texas - The Lone Star State - 2000

This was the easiest plate to make. To be honest, we didn't expect it to sell this well!

Thank you for your support! We'll give our best to create even more license plate designs. We'll offer even more products with these designs... Soon, we'll hit our first 'goal' - creating designs for all fifty states.
If you ever need a design that we don't offer - let us know - we'll give our best to create it for you. You can contact us here, on our blog, you can contact us on our Facebook page, or on our Squidoo lens.
Here's another nice looking license plate replica - Kentucky Unbridled Spirit. A nice blue gradient background, and a silhouette of a running horse. Bluegrass State slogan. Real KY plates carry a county sticker at the bottom. We don't draw the county stickers, since that would either limit our designs, or we would have to produce huge amounts of almost identical plates. (About 120 plates, just for Kentucky)
Kentucky Bluegrass State - Unbridled Spirit license plate replica:
Wisconsin license plate is a bit different - the mounting holes go right trough the design. "WISCONSIN" lettering at the top is the most obvious. We did our best to minimize the cut-out, but we couldn't completely get rid of it. The only other reasonable option, was lowering the complete header below the screw holes. We chose to keep the cut-out, just like the real plate, since low header didn't look real enough.
We love feedback. It helps us see what you like, and what would you like to see at our shop in the future. As always, you can leave your wishes in our comment boxes (here, on our blog), you can get in touch via our Facebook page (don't forget to like us!), via our Squidoo License Plate lens, our Squidoo Mini Key Chain lens, or you can simply vote in our poll, right here on our blog.
We have been busy with new designs, and here are two fresh ones - from South Dakota. The first one is the current one, and the second is from 2000-2006 period. We had loads of fun designing these - the current one was something new for us - we used a real photo of Mount Rushmore for the background, and we created our own font for it. We're really happy how it turned out - it looks like the real one. And that's what we're trying to achieve with every plate we create.
